Physical Therapy Assistant
Therapy & Wellness Connection is looking for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our pediatric therapy team on a very part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for a PTA looking to add a few consistent hours to their current schedule while working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.
Position Details
Part-time – approximately 5 hours per week currently
Potential opportunity for hours to increase as our PT caseload grows
Pediatric outpatient setting
Work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Collaborative environment with PT, OT, Speech Therapy, ABA, and other pediatric professionals
Flexible scheduling based on caseload and availability
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy
- Valid Ohio license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Experience working with pediatric populations
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and practices
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a clinical setting
- Specialization in a specific area of physical therapy, such as early intervention, autism, and pediatrics
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
