PHYSICIAN (ANESTHESIOLOGY)

About the Position: This position is located at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center (CRDAMC) in Killeen, TX. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Provide anesthesia services to all categories and types of patients requiring surgical or procedural intervention including geriatric, pediatric, and obstetrical patient populations..

Administer appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic nerve blocks in the treatment of acute and chronic pain.

Oversee activity of recovery room and administer appropriate drug and respiratory therapy in the recovery room setting.

Instruct nurse anesthesia students, physicians, interns, and physicians rotating through the Anesthesiology Service in the proper administration of anesthesia.
