About the Position: This position is located within Naval Medical Center San Diego, CA; located NBHC PT LOMA SD, Dir of Medicine, Medical Readiness Center A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Perform medical screening examinations in an inpatient or outpatient setting for patients of all ages.

Examine patients and performs initial patient work-up and assessment of patients' care and treatment.

Determine the need for and orders laboratory tests, X-rays and other procedures necessary to complete assessment of the patient.

Diagnose disease, illness disorder or injury.

Prescribe for and treats a variety of diseases, disorders and injuries.

Provide preoperative and postoperative care, and may work as first or second assistants during major surgery.
