Physician - Associate Chief of Gastroenterology

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. A specific charge will be to work closely with the GI Division Chief to build a thriving GI specialty program in Community Outpatient Centers (CBOCs) across Northeast Ohio. Clinical duties will consist of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies and managing a full array of GI disorders. A minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in advanced liver diseases preferred, including advanced hepatology procedures, including but not limited to doppler guided gastric varices treatment and liver biopsies. Prior leadership experience, such as clinical subspecialty directorships or fellowship program directorships preferred. The ideal candidate has a strong history of mentoring GI fellows and residents in a broad range of scientific methods.
