Physician (Emergency Medicine)

About the Position: This position is located at WINN Military Hospital, Fort Stewart, GA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment.

Provide services of an Emergency Medicine Physician to patients in the Emergency Room.

Examine patients and order appropriate tests to evaluate patient's chief, and related complaints.

Perform authorized emergency procedures.

Provide professional guidance and direction to physician assistants, Nurse Practitioners and physician assistant students working in the Emergency Room.

Participate in departmental and hospital performance improvement activities and make recommendations on improvement of work methods, organizational features and the restructuring of positions.
