Physician - Endocrinology

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Endocrinologist to meet the growing demand for Diabetes and Endocrinology services at FPN Diabetes & Endocrinology Specialists Indianapolis on the south side of Indianapolis, Indiana. Interested candidate will be joining an established practice with a skilled provider team of physicians and advanced practice providers.
WHAT WE NEED:
Ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills with a desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients. Physician will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
Flexible schedule, typically 4 days a week
Both outpatient and inpatient coverage
Anticipated outpatient volume: 20-22 patients per day
Anticipated inpatient volume varies based on consultations
Shared call expectation of 1:6. Cover inpatient rounding every 6th week.
With the assistance of the Triage Logic Nurse system, number of calls during off hours is limited
Extensive resources including onsite 4 Clinical Diabetes Educators
Provider will support one of our outreach locations which include- Mooresville, Plainfield, Columbus, Greenwood, Greencastle, Stones Crossing or Carmel

Qualifications:
- Doctorate - Required
- Physician License (MD/DO) - Upon Hire Required – and -
- Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire Required
