Physician (Family Medicine)

About the Position: This position is located at Naval Branch Health Clinic Everett in Everett, Washington. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment.

Serve as a recognized technical authority in the delivery of Family Medicine and the Urgent Care Clinic.

Independently formulate full treatment plans based on sound evaluation and diagnoses consistent with current and/ or evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.

Coordinate with facility and community resources to provide multi-disciplinary comprehensive care to all patients.

Apply new procedures in the evaluation and treatment of complex patient cases.

Develop and implement new clinical approaches, treatment protocols, and care delivery models —including primary care optimization, population health management initiatives, and chronic disease management programs.

Perform emergency services or crisis intervention, including life-saving emergency procedures when necessary.

Encourage patients to make difficult lifestyle changes to improve their heath.

Serve as member of the professional medical staff and provide advisory and consultative services on various meetings, committees, conferences, and/ or boards.
