Job Description

Make a meaningful contribution to community health while practicing in Arizona’s White Mountains. We are seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to support Indian Health Service outpatient primary care services at Whiteriver Indian Hospital.

Working with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, the physician will deliver care that supports patients’ immediate needs and long-term health. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, performing routine examinations and preventive screenings, managing medications, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and coordinating referrals and follow-up care. The physician will also provide patient education and maintain complete, timely documentation in the facility’s electronic health record.
