Physician (Family Practice)

About the Position: This position is located at Branch Health Clinic Oceana, Naval Air Station in Virginia Beach, VA. Working with patients, family members, and medical staff to provide primary care to patients. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, chronic disease management, and coordination of care.

Manage complex and acute clinical conditions within the scope of Family Medicine, develop evidence-based treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic studies, prescribe medications, and perform appropriate office-based procedures.

Support clinical readiness, quality, and team-based care by collaborating with nurse and multidisciplinary staff, maintaining appropriate documentation and clinical standards.
