Physician- Gastroenterology

The clinical resource hub is seeking a qualified GI physician who can remotely service Veterans across HSA 4.1. Some travel onsite maybe required to perform GI procedures, The incumbent will work with facility leaders, and CRH leaders to set up clinics, determine panel sizes, and appointment times for Veterans.

Duties include but are not limited to: Performing Gastroenterology assessments via telehealth. Possibility of onsite endoscopies Physicians will participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, staff meetings, workplace assessments and committees as appropriate to the section. Each provider will function as a team member and work collaboratively with nurses and ancillary staff. Physicians will be active in the management of their clinic grids in collaboration with the section chief of the specialty to ensure timely access to care, clinic utilization and productivity. Physicians will comply with VHA regulations and professional standards and ethical conduct. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
