AtlantiCare, the largest healthcare organization in Southeastern New Jersey, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nocturnist to join our dynamic Hospital Medicine team.

This full-time opportunity allows you to be part of a high-performing, patient-focused hospitalist program during overnight hours. As a nocturnal hospitalist, you will provide comprehensive inpatient care, working collaboratively with a dedicated team to drive exceptional clinical outcomes and patient experiences.

You will report to the Vice President of Medical Affairs, department chairperson, and/or medical director while playing a key role in ensuring continuous, high-quality care across our medical centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver cost-effective, evidence-based inpatient care overnight

  • Perform admissions, medical assessments, and acute interventions

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes

  • Participate in quality and safety initiatives and peer review processes

  • Maintain current clinical knowledge and pursue professional development

  • Foster a culture of respect, teamwork, and clinical excellence

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited medical school

  • Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of New Jersey

  • Valid CDS and DEA registration

  • Proficient in clinical documentation systems (training provided as needed)
