AtlantiCare, the largest healthcare organization in Southeastern New Jersey, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nocturnist to join our dynamic Hospital Medicine team.
This full-time opportunity allows you to be part of a high-performing, patient-focused hospitalist program during overnight hours. As a nocturnal hospitalist, you will provide comprehensive inpatient care, working collaboratively with a dedicated team to drive exceptional clinical outcomes and patient experiences.
You will report to the Vice President of Medical Affairs, department chairperson, and/or medical director while playing a key role in ensuring continuous, high-quality care across our medical centers.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver cost-effective, evidence-based inpatient care overnight

Perform admissions, medical assessments, and acute interventions

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes

Participate in quality and safety initiatives and peer review processes

Maintain current clinical knowledge and pursue professional development

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited medical school

Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Licensed to practice medicine in the state of New Jersey

Valid CDS and DEA registration
-
Proficient in clinical documentation systems (training provided as needed)
