Ensuring the delivery of top-notch, evidence-based, patient-centric care on the inpatient unit.

Collaborating with and advising a multidisciplinary team.

Managing swing bed patients and coordinating care transitions.

Educating patients and families.

Handling emergencies with calm, grace, and the occasional coffee/tea.

Participating in medical staff meetings, improvement initiatives, and hospital committees.

Providing 24-hour call coverage as scheduled, including in-house and on-call responsibilities.

Demonstrating procedural knowledge of central lines, chest tubes, lumbar puncture, intubation, wound care, IV therapy or willingness to learn.

MD or DO with an unrestricted Washington State Medical License

Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Experience in managing acute, chronic, and critical conditions

Comfortable practicing in a rural or semi-rural environment
