Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive and compassionate Patient Care, addressing acute and chronic conditions for diverse patient populations.
- Performs accurate Diagnosis of illnesses and injuries through thorough evaluation and appropriate testing.
- Develops individualized Treatment Planning that aligns with evidence-based medicine and patient preferences.
- Applies strong Clinical Reasoning to interpret complex medical information and make informed decisions.
- Maintains precise and timely documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR), ensuring continuity of care.
- Demonstrates excellent Communication Skills, effectively engaging with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Conducts detailed Medical History Taking, gathering relevant information to inform diagnosis and treatment.
- Performs thorough Physical Examinations to assess patient health status and identify potential issues.
- Exercises sound judgment in Prescribing Medication, considering efficacy, safety, and patient-specific factors.
- Educates patients on Preventive Medicine strategies, promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Completes an accredited residency program in Family Medicine or General Practice.
- Possesses a current and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
Experience
- Demonstrates at least two years of post-residency clinical experience in a general practice or family medicine setting.
- Exhibits a proven track record of effective patient management and positive patient outcomes.
Knowledge/Skills
- Possesses deep knowledge of primary care principles, common medical conditions, and treatment modalities.
- Applies expert skills in Patient Care, Diagnosis, and Treatment Planning.
- Utilizes advanced Clinical Reasoning to navigate complex medical cases.
- Shows proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
- Exhibits outstanding Communication Skills, both verbal and written, with diverse audiences.
- Excels in Medical History Taking and conducting comprehensive Physical Examinations.
- Demonstrates competence in Prescribing Medication safely and effectively.
- Emphasizes and practices principles of Preventive Medicine and health promotion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Achieves Board Certification in Family Medicine or a related primary care specialty.
- Possesses experience with specific EHR platforms relevant to our organization.
- Demonstrates interest or experience in specific areas such as women's health, pediatrics, or geriatrics.
