Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is Houston's premier multispecialty group practice, founded in 1949 by Dr. Mavis Kelsey in Houston's famous Texas Medical Center. Our compensation package is productivity based and includes salary, paid time off, CME, and matching 401K. Affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Heart Institute.

Our OB/GYNs deliver comprehensive obstetric care and emergent gynecological services, focusing on women's health throughout their adult life. This includes the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions specific to the female anatomy, such as breast and cervical cancer, urinary tract and pelvic disorders, and hormonal imbalances. Our specialists also guide and support women throughout their pregnancy in the hospital setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide hospital-based obstetric and emergent gynecological care.
• Participate in regional OBGYN team rotations, performing hospital-based duties.
• Round on inpatient obstetric patients, manage scheduled labor inductions, and perform planned C-sections.
• Admit and manage labor for patients assigned to the regional Kelsey provider group.
• Full-time work 14-hour shifts, with an expectation of 14 shifts per month, including weekdays and holidays (5pm-7am). Part-time work 14-hour shifts 7 shifts per month, including weekdays and holidays (5 pm – 7 am).

Experience:

• Must have completed or be in the process of completing a residency program when applying.

Education:

• Must have completed or be in the process of completing a residency program when applying.

License and Certification:

• Licensed in the State of Texas.
• Board Certified and/or Board Eligible.
