Physician - Orthopedic Surgery

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. The Department of Surgery/Orthopedics at the VA Boston Healthcare System (VABHCS), affiliated with Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH)/Harvard Medical School (HMS) and Boston University (BU), is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Surgeon. Candidates must have completed accredited training in joint arthroplasty; additional training in shoulder and upper extremity surgery is advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical and academic performance and an interest in resident and fellow education. Major Duties Provide comprehensive orthopedic surgical care with emphasis on joint arthroplasty. Perform operative and non-operative management including evaluation, surgery, and follow-up. Participate in education of residents and fellows. Contribute to interdisciplinary teamwork and quality improvement efforts. Engage in academic activity including teaching and scholarly work.
