About the Position: This position is located at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service 1-Year Fellowship in Transfusion Medicine is preferred.
Provide transfusion medicine services.
Oversight of blood donations and creating FDA approved blood products.
Provide expert consultation and consults with clinicians concerning complex pathological diagnoses.
Participate in Quality Improvement activities of the laboratory.
Teach Physician residents.
Provide surgical pathology, cytology, and autopsy service.
