The Orlando VA Healthcare System's Pathology & Laboratory Service is seeking an experienced and dynamic Pathologist. Ideal applicants are those who want to contribute to the achievement of quality care standards, as well as the growth and development of a VA academic hospital program. You must be an excellent communicator and team player who is adaptable to the needs of a growing medical center. This is an open continuous announcement that will remain open until filled. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis. Eligible applicants will be referred each week for consideration until a selection is made. The candidate is a well-rounded pathologist with AP/CP board certification as well as training and/or experience in either ONE of the following three specialties: 1) Pathologist fellowship trained in Surgical Pathology. Preference for candidates trained and/or experienced in Head & Neck Pathology and/or Pulmonary Pathology. 2) Pathologist fellowship trained in Cytopathology with GYN and non-GYN cytology experience. Ultrasound-guided FNA biopsy experience is required. 3) Pathologist fellowship trained and board certified in Molecular Pathology experienced in the interpretation of various molecular assays. May assist in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Services as needed.
