This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. Maintains all required VA credentials, active medical licensure, continuing education, and board certification, as applicable. Provides compassionate, appropriate, and effective patient care focused on health promotion, disease prevention, treatment, and end-of-life care. Demonstrates knowledge of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) services and applies current clinical and scientific knowledge to patient care and education. Uses scientific evidence and clinical methods to evaluate and continuously improve patient care. Understands and effectively utilizes healthcare systems and resources to optimize patient care. Performs research and administrative duties as assigned. Ensures compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Completes consultations in a timely manner and ensures results are readily available to referring practitioners. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8:00am - 4:30pm (Note: Work schedules are determined and approved by the supervisor. The incumbent may be required to work various shifts on a permanent or temporary basis based on facility/patient care needs).
