Physician (Radiology-Diagnostic) - Service Chief

The North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System is seeking a dynamic, board-certified Radiologist to serve as Chief of Radiology. This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Oversee daily clinical operations and patient workflows. Set high standards for image reading and safety. Work with health system leaders on strategic goals. Mentor junior staff, fellows, and resident doctors. Academic oversight for training programs and medical students. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Note: Work schedules are determined and approved by the supervisor. The incumbent may be required to work various shifts on a permanent or temporary basis based on facility/patient care needs.)
