Physics Teacher

Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced physics teacher to join our team in August 2026.

As a physics teacher, you will:

• Teach and inspire students across various areas of physics, promoting curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for science.
• Develop and implement an engaging, ambitious, and inclusive physics curriculum aligned with the international British curriculum standards.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, inquiry, and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physics with other subjects and whole-school initiatives.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students during laboratory experiments and practical lessons.
• Maintain and manage laboratory equipment and resources effectively.

Skills

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a British curriculum school.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Physics (minimum 3 years regular course)
• Experience of the IGCSE/A Level curriculum is preferred but not essential
• Passionate about providing outstanding teaching and learning
• Highly experienced in the National Curriculum for England
• Efficient and effective in people development
• Experienced in an English-speaking environment with effective communication abilities
