Physiotherapist (Locum)

Provide physiotherapy services to elderly residents, including assessments, therapy planning, and one-on-one interventions to restore functional independence.
Looking for a Locum Physiotherapist to provide professional clinical services to elderly residents/clients. The focus is to support residents/clients in restoring or maintaining functional independence in daily living activities through clinical therapy interventions.
1. Assessment & Intervention Planning
- Conduct initial and periodic assessments.
- Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each resident’s/client’s needs.
- Focus areas: ADLs, upper limb function, cognition, and social skills.
2. Therapy Intervention Delivery
- Deliver therapy one-on-one or in small groups.
- Adjust interventions based on client progress.
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Required records: Initial assessments, reassessments, goals, therapy notes, and discharge plans.
4. Collaboration & Communication
- Liaise with nursing, allied health professionals (e.g., Speech Therapists, Podiatrists), and Caregivers.
- Participate in case reviews if required.
5. Training & Support
- Provide guidance/training to therapy support staff if required.
- Provide caregiver’s training for discharge cases.
Compensation:
- This is a locum role and remuneration will be paid at an hourly rate.
Minimum Commitment:
- Applicants must be available to work for a minimum duration of six (6) months.
Work Schedule:
- A minimum commitment of two (2) full working days per week is required, with eight (8) hours per day.
