Sommerville School is a leading specialist school based in Panmure, with satellite classrooms across 15 mainstream schools, a community programme for young adults aged 18–21, and a dedicated Outreach Service. We support students aged 5 to 21 with complex communication, learning, physical, and behavioural needs.

What we’re looking for:

We’re seeking an exceptional Physiotherapists who will bring clinical expertise, critical thinking, and a collaborative spirit to our multidisciplinary setting. Ideal candidates will:

  • Hold a degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.

  • Be eligible for membership with the Physiotherapy Board and hold a current practising certificate.

  • Have previous experience with special education.

  • Hold, or be working towards, equipment accreditation and be able to apply for equipment to support student needs through the Ministry of Education or the Ministry of Health.

  • Be a relationship builder, demonstrating the ability to work with other specialists and colleagues.

  • Be passionate about your own professional development and wellbeing.

  • Have cultural responsiveness, curiosity, and kindness

  • Have a full NZ driver licence and access to a car (mileage reimbursed)
