Physiotherapist (Registered) Locum / Full-time
Summary
Provide patient assessments, manual therapy, and rehabilitation in a high-volume retail clinic, collaborating with other wellness professionals.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled physiotherapist to join our retail setting, high-volume clinic. As a physiotherapist in our clinic, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and rehabilitation services. The position requires working retail hours to accommodate the needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Assessment and Treatment
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions, including medical history, range of motion, strength, and functional abilities.
- Plan, discuss with patient, develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on above findings and goals set by patients and referring healthcare professionals (if applicable)
- Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises and modalities on patients so that they will heal symmetrically and improve their function
- Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary for optimal outcome
Patient Management
- Provide education and guidance to patients on injury prevent, self-management techniques and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes
- Collaborate with clinic’s Chiropractors, Functional Wellness Therapists and TCM Physicians for optimal and efficient patient recovery
Customer Service & Communication
- Provide exceptional customer service, compassion and effective communication to patients, ensuring their comfort, satisfaction and understanding throughout the treatment program
- Collaborate with front desk staff to co-ordinate patient scheduling
Company Events and Activities
- Conduct and/or participate in Company programs such as health talks, roadshows and charity programs
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Physical Therapy/Physiotherapy or equivalent, from an accredited institution
- Be registered with AHPC and have and maintain a Practicing Certificate (PC) *It is It is an offence to practice as an allied health professional in Singapore without registration and a valid practicing certificate.*
- At least 1 Year of working experience in the related field
