Physiotherapy Lecturer #JK
We are looking for a dedicated Physiotherapy Lecturer to deliver high-quality training and mentorship to future healthcare professionals. The role involves planning, delivering and assessing training programmes while ensuring alignment with industry and accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver physiotherapy training and assessments in line with competency and quality standards.
- Conduct lectures, clinical instruction, student assessments, mentoring and counselling.
- Coordinate and supervise course delivery and assessments.
- Liaise with healthcare institutions for students' clinical attachments.
- Review and improve curriculum, courseware, teaching materials and delivery methods.
- Keep updated on current physiotherapy practices, teaching methodologies and educational technology.
- Participate in professional development and other training-related projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised university.
- Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) certification.
- Currently registered as a Physiotherapist in Singapore.
- At least 5 years of clinical physiotherapy experience.
- At least 2 years of teaching/therapy educator experience is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of physiotherapy principles, techniques and practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about teaching, mentoring and developing future healthcare professionals.
- Comfortable working collaboratively and adapting to evolving educational and industry needs.
Working Hours & Location
- Full-Time: Monday to Friday; training is generally conducted on weekdays between 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM. Off-in-lieu will be provided for required weekend work, subject to hours worked.
- Part-Time: Minimum 12 days per month, with leave and staff benefits provided on a pro-rated basis.
