We Are Hiring – Part-Time Piano Teacher

Victoria Music School is seeking a qualified, passionate, and responsible Part-Time Piano Teacher to join our teaching team.

Responsibilities

* Conduct individual and group piano lessons for children and adults.

* Prepare students for ABRSM, Trinity, and LCME piano examinations, recitals, and competitions.

* Deliver lively, engaging, and enjoyable lessons while maintaining a structured approach to teaching.

* Adapt teaching methods to suit each student’s age, ability, and learning pace.

* Monitor students’ progress and take responsibility for their learning development and examination preparation.

* Communicate professionally and effectively with parents, providing clear updates on their children’s progress.

* Guide and support students during school concerts, performances, and external events.

* Work closely with the school team to maintain consistent teaching standards.

* Maintain a positive, encouraging, and well-organised learning environment.

Requirements

* Diploma or higher qualification in Piano, Music Performance, or a related field.

* Good knowledge of ABRSM, Trinity, and LCME piano examination syllabuses.

* Able to teach students of different ages and proficiency levels.

* Patient, responsible, and genuinely committed to students’ learning progress.

* Able to make lessons fun, interactive, and engaging while ensuring effective learning.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with both students and parents.

* Good classroom management skills and a positive teaching attitude.

* Able to plan lessons independently and take ownership of students’ learning progress.

* Relevant piano teaching experience will be an advantage.
