Picking Operator with Forklift License

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant with a valid forklift license for an important company in the distribution sector. The person will be responsible for carrying out various tasks in the warehouse, such as loading, unloading, order picking with PDA, packaging orders, labeling, and more, contributing to the efficiency and organization of the workspace.

What you'll do

• Loading and unloading of goods
• Placement of goods
• Technical placement: Place products on the corresponding shelves respecting chemical product segregation rules.
• Stock rotation: Apply inventory management systems (such as the FIFO/PEPS method) to prioritize the exit of batches with the closest expiration dates.
• Identification: Correctly label and code pallets or containers entering the stock areas.
• Reading orders: Use radio frequency terminals (PDA) or printed orders to locate products requested by customers.
• Load grouping: Gather the different chemical products, dispensers, or cleaning accessories assigned to each shipping route.
• Packaging and labeling: Ensure the correct packaging of boxes and pallets to avoid spills or breakage during transport.
• Physical counting: Actively participate in periodic inventories to contrast real stock with the computer system.
• Area maintenance: Keep aisles clean, clear, and free of waste to guarantee occupational safety.

What we're looking for

The minimum requirements to apply for the position are:

• Previous experience in warehouse or logistics, preparing orders and using PDA
• Ability to perform physical tasks and handle loads, and previous experience in loading and unloading
• Experience, dexterity, and skill in the handling of electric pallet jacks and front forklifts.
• Valid forklift license
• Availability for immediate start
• Teamwork and good communication skills.
• Availability to work the indicated schedule
• Vehicle to travel to the workplace

What you'll get

• Full-time from Sunday to Thursday, from 17:30 to 01:30h with 30 min for dinner.
• Contract until 30/11
• Salary: €10.00 gross per hour
• Sunday to Thursday schedule
