We specialize in operating both permanent, indoor pickleball clubs as well as high-profile, seasonal activations.
Position Overview
As a Pickleball Coach at CityPickle, you will work closely with our Lead Pro and coaching team in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You will help deliver exceptional on-court experiences across lessons, clinics, leagues, tournaments, and events—both on and off the court.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality coaching for players of all skill levels
- Develop and implement effective, engaging training programs
- Create a supportive, inclusive, and fun learning environment
- Evaluate player progress and deliver clear, constructive feedback
- Offer private lessons (set your own availability and rates)
- Assist with open play, leagues, tournaments, and events
- Represent the CityPickle brand with professionalism and energy
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong passion for pickleball
- High energy, collaborative mindset, and leadership mentality
- Self-starter with strong ownership and follow-through
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum 1 year of pickleball coaching experience (certification preferred)
- Bonus: experience in programming, events, or sports operations
Compensation
- $40/hour for CityPickle-hosted programming
- Additional earning potential through privately set lesson rates
- 1099 independent contractor role
