Healthtrax Fitness & Wellness is preparing to open a brand-new Pilates Reformer studio within our Washington Township, New Jersey, fitness center! We’re looking for passionate, motivated Pilates professionals to join our team and help us build an exceptional studio experience from the ground up.

We are seeking Pilates Reformer Instructors and may also have opportunities for a Pilates Reformer Lead Instructor to help lead, develop, and grow our studio programming.

Whether you’re an experienced instructor ready for your next opportunity or an aspiring Pilates professional looking to get certified, we’d love to hear from you!

Pilates Reformer Instructor Responsibilities

● Lead engaging, safe, and effective Pilates Reformer classes for members with varying fitness levels and experience.

● Deliver high-quality instruction with an emphasis on proper technique, alignment, modifications, and individual member needs.

● Create a welcoming, motivating studio environment that supports member engagement and retention.

● Build positive relationships with members and contribute to a strong studio community.

● Maintain a clean, organized, and professional studio environment.

● Collaborate with the Healthtrax team to support the success and growth of our Pilates program.

Additional Responsibilities for Head Trainer Candidates

● Support the development and implementation of the studio’s class schedule and programming.

● Help recruit, mentor, and develop Pilates instructors.

● Maintain consistent instructional standards and a high-quality member experience.

● Assist with studio operations, instructor scheduling, and program growth.

● Help establish a strong Pilates culture within our new Healthtrax location.

Qualifications

● At least one year of Pilates Reformer teaching experience preferred.

● Current Pilates Reformer certification preferred for instructor candidates.

● Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.

● A passion for movement, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals.

● Reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to member safety.

● Leadership or instructor development experience preferred for Head Trainer candidates.

For motivated candidates who are interested in pursuing Pilates Reformer instruction but have not yet completed their certification, Healthtrax may offer financial support toward obtaining a Pilates Reformer certification, based on qualifications and program requirements.
