We're seeking a Pilates Reformer Manager to lead our Pilates Reformers Team and classes. As our new Pilates Reformer Manager, you must be:
- Enthusiastic about group exercise classes and enjoy creating and delivering new, fresh and innovative routines
- Confident in your professionalism by reporting on-time with a positive attitude and a passion to motivate others
- A professional who is collaborative and a flexible leader in and out of the studio
- Mentor staff and members who are interested in learning how to teach group exercise and preparing them for the certification experience.
- Assist with creation and communication of marketing materials related to the Pilates Program
- Track class attendance and report monthly statistics to General Manager
- Be the face of the Pilates Reformers program by maintaining regular communication with members, seeking input and responding to comment cards in a timely manner.
- Host certification and continuing education workshops to promote continuing education among staff and to increase network of local instructors.
- Offer specialty training programs to staff, such as “choreography forums” to help promote team building and skill sharing.
- Mentor staff and members who are interested in learning how to teach Pilates Reformers and preparing them for the certification experience.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule and teach multiple classes per week (may include weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events)
- Must be able to sell, upsell and resell Pilates packages
Required Qualifications
- A nationally recognized certification in Pilates
- Minimum 2 years of class instruction experience.
- Able to work with others as part of a team.
- Able to communicate and motivate effectively.
- Minimum of two years management experience
- Certified in CPR/AED/First Aid; must be achieved within 60 days of employment.
