Pipe Welder/Fabricator
1st Shift Welder / Fabricator performs all elements of stainless, aluminum, and steel fabrication. Duties involve fabrication processes but also component assembly, operating hand tools and metal fabrication equipment including saws, drills, brakes, and grinders.
Welder/Fabricator should have the following skills, education, and experience:
- Proficiency with fit up & fabrication
- Technical skills in the welding trade
- Basic reading and writing skills; tape measure reading
- Basic knowledge of structural steel shapes, sizes, and grades
- Ability to interpret shop drawings and understand weld symbols
- Must be able to speak & understand detailed information through oral communication and be able to see clearly and recognize small details.
- Hand tools required; power tools provided.
- Certification in several welding processes including FCAW and GMAW preferred
- 3 to 5 years minimum experience in a similar role
