About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. RRAD is near the corners of 4 states - Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. The depot's enormous maintenance mission includes the repair, rebuild, overhaul and conversion of tactical wheeled vehicles. Works from blueprints specifications, work orders, or oral instructions to install,maintain, an repair overhead, surface level and underground steam systems consisting of boilers,lines, valves, pumps, controls, tanks and other associated equipment.

Works from blueprints, specifications, work orders or oral instructions to install, maintains and repairs air, gas, water and sewage lines and plumbing fixtures.

Works from blueprints, specifications, work orders or oral instructions using electric welding machine or acetylene welding equipment.

Operates motor vehicles up to 5 ton capacity and forklift up to 15,000 pounds capacity required in accomplishing steam fitting/plumbing assignments.
