PIPEFITTER LEADER

You will serve as a PIPEFITTER LEADER in the Detachment Yokosuka, Japan, Shop 086 of PSNS and IMF. ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.

You will read and interpret blueprints, drawings, plans, technical manuals, work instructions, and other sources of job-related information for fabrication, installation, repair and modification of piping systems.

You will install, repair, modify, and check piping systems and equipment such as pressure regulators, relief valves, and pressure supporting and controlling devices.

You will lead other in accomplishing nuclear and non-nuclear installation, maintenance, services, removal, repair, modification, assembly, manufacture, troubleshooting, calibration, and testing.

You will ensure that necessary work documents, plans, blueprints, tools, and materials are available.

You will lead three or more mechanics, apprentices, helpers, ship force, and others in accomplishing nuclear pipefitting installation, modification, maintenance, repair, and test operations.
