Job purpose

KBR is looking for talented individuals to join our PMC team to work on an exciting project as an engineer, pipeline (integrity) for a PMC project to be based in Abu Dhabi in client proposed office. The candidate will plan and implement all pipeline integrity activities including, but not limited to, integrity pigging surveys. The candidate will technically advise on the integrity status of pipelines as and when needed or asked. The candidate will work with contractors and site to follow up intelligent pigging surveys outcomes, ensure all required data is acquired and properly saved for future use or reference, and issue integrity status summary reports. The candidate will frequently ensure that “ADNOC Offshore Pipeline Integrity Strategy” is current.

Accountabilities

  • Advise and support on the development and implementation of PIMS related supporting systems, pipeline integrity strategy, procedures and guidelines.
  • Produce and ensure execution of the intelligent pigging (IP) in-line inspection master plan.
  • In coordination with inspection engineer, produce underwater meter inspection plan.
  • Validate the inspection findings, review, assess and evaluate the IP findings.
  • Advise asset owners on lines integrity status. Issue related recommendations and future action plan or next inspection date.
  • Provide technical advice and support to management and business units on pipeline integrity issues.
  • Support manager and team leader in concluding the department business plan.
  • Provide support to management in the TCM’s facilities integrity workshop and performance reviews.
  • Identify and develop pipeline long term replacement plan.

Qualification, experience, knowledge

  • Minimum qualification: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Good knowledge of English.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience as pipeline integrity engineer.
  • Professional certifications preferred.
  • Preferably member of certified or professional inspection or pipelines bodies.
