Hands-On Work Responsibilities in Water Treatment Industries

1. Thermoplastic Piping

- Proficient in solvent cementing (for PVC/CPVC).

- Skilled in butt fusion, socket fusion, and electrofusion welding (for HDPE, PP, and PVDF).

- Experienced in mechanical jointing (flanges, compression fittings.

2. Fit-Up and Installation
- Perform or assist in pipe fit-up, alignment, and positioning tasks during critical or complex installations.

3. Welding Supervision
- Prepare and inspect joints before welding.
- Assist or demonstrate correct tack welding techniques or root passes if required (especially during urgent or training needs).

4. Pipe Cutting & Bending
- Occasionally assist with or supervise manual or mechanical cutting, beveling, and bending of pipes.

5. Support Fabrication
- Help fabricate and install pipe supports or guide teams in doing so, ensuring correct spacing and type.

6. ISO Drawing Interpretation

- Able to interpret ISO drawing
