We are currently seeking a Piping Supervisor / QC, reporting directly to the Piping Superintendent, to join our team based in Chonburi.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervise and monitor subcontractor activities related to piping fabrication, erection, installation, and testing activities.
  • Ensure piping works are executed in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable codes, standards, and construction procedures.
  • Monitor fabrication and installation of pipe spools and pipe supports to ensure compliance with the latest approved construction drawings.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and engineering teams to resolve site technical queries and construction issues.
  • Participate in site surveys and constructability reviews to identify and propose solutions for routing conflicts and field interferences.
  • Ensure all construction activities are performed in compliance with HSE requirements and promote safe work practices at site.
  • Conduct regular HSE inspections, safety assessments, and site walkdowns to monitor safe and unsafe conditions.
  • Verify construction progress, monitor schedule compliance, and provide progress updates to the Lead Construction Engineer.
  • Assess subcontractor performance and recommend corrective actions to ensure achievement of project objectives.
  • Review manpower utilization, productivity, and resource requirements for modifications and additional works.
  • Coordinate preparation of piping systems for testing and ensure readiness in accordance with approved test packs and testing priorities.
  • Prepare and manage test packages and support pressure testing and mechanical completion activities.
  • Participate in final system walkdowns and verify closure of punch list items prior to mechanical completion and handover.
  • Implement Field Quality Control Plans, procedures, and construction specifications for piping activities.
  • Support the Quality Control Manager in executing quality control activities, reviewing inspection results, and improving quality processes.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report quality control results, ensuring timely resolution of quality concerns and non-conformities.
  • Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and construction quality dossiers to ensure full traceability and compliance with project requirements.
  • Implement Field Non-Conformity Management Procedures and support corrective and preventive actions.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience in piping construction, fabrication, installation, inspection, or supervision within EPC, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, Refinery, or Industrial projects.
  • Good knowledge of piping construction methods, testing requirements, quality control processes, and applicable industry standards.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, isometrics, specifications, and test packages.
  • Familiarity with inspection and test plans (ITPs), quality records, and non-conformance management processes.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
