PL - SQL Developer

Responsibilities:

• Developed and maintained complex PL/SQL procedures, packages, triggers, and functions to support business logic for a financial services application.
• Wrote high-performance SQL queries and optimised existing code.
• Participated in code reviews, upholding high standards of quality and promoting best practices among the development team.
• Supported database administration activities, including backups, restores, and replication management.
• Developed and managed database schemas, tables, indexes, partitions, and constraints.
• Implement database solutions aligned with architectural and business requirements.

Requirements:

• 10-15 years of experience in Oracle RDBMS and PL/SQL development.
• Experience with PL/SQL (procedures, packages, functions, triggers).
• Knowledge of SQL tuning and performance optimisation.
• Experience with Oracle database architecture and internals.
• Strong experience in Data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical).
• Knowledge of Partitioning, indexing, and query optimisation techniques.
• Strong problem-solving Oracle 11g/12c/19c.
• Proficiency in ETL tools (preferred: ODI, Informatica, custom PL/SQL ETL).
• Unix/Linux shell scripting (optional but preferred).
• Nice to have: Git, Jenkins, or CI/CD pipelines.
