PL/SQL Developer

Role Summary As a PL/SQL Developer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and maintaining database solutions that drive our core applications. Your expertise will ensure data integrity, performance, and efficiency across various systems. Responsibilities - Design and develop PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers to meet business requirements. - Optimize SQL queries for performance improvements on large datasets. - Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues related to PL/SQL code execution. - Collaborate with application developers to integrate PL/SQL code into front-end applications. - Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure best practices are followed. - Prepare documentation for procedures, processes, and system configurations. - Provide support for database-related incidents and participate in root cause analysis to prevent future issues. Must-Have Skills - Proficiency in PL/SQL programming language. - Strong understanding of relational database concepts and architecture. - Experience with performance tuning and optimization of PL/SQL code. - Familiarity with SQL development tools and Oracle databases. - Ability to write clear documentation for database designs and procedures. Good-to-Have Skills - Experience with data migration and ETL processes. - Knowledge of modern software development methodologies such as Agile or DevOps. - Familiarity with other programming languages such as Java or Python. - Understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
