About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-organized Placement Intern to support our placement and recruitment activities. The ideal candidate is proactive, confident in communication, and eager to learn about talent acquisition, employer outreach, and student/candidate management. This role offers hands-on experience in recruitment processes, corporate networking, data handling, and event coordination.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating placement activities such as student registrations, resume collection, and interview scheduling.

  • Maintain and update candidate databases, job postings, placement trackers, and employer contacts.

  • Communicate with companies for internship and job opportunities, sharing profiles and following up on hiring updates.

  • Support the preparation and improvement of student resumes, portfolios, and LinkedIn profiles.

  • Help organize placement drives, career fairs, workshops, and pre-placement talks.

  • Assist in screening resumes and shortlisting candidates based on job requirements.

  • Coordinate interviews (online/offline) and ensure smooth communication between students and recruiters.

  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and placement statistics for internal use.

  • Handle administrative tasks such as documentation, emails, and scheduling.

  • Support the placement team with research on industry trends and hiring patterns.



Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or related fields.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Comfortable interacting with students, faculty, and corporate representatives.

  • Proficient in MS Office / Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, Docs, Slide).

  • Attention to detail and a proactive learning attitude.
