Position: Configuration Manager

Tasks:
- Configuration management in accordance with DIN ISO 10007 (planning, identification, record-keeping, and change control) in projects and product teams
- Document control, comprehensive maintenance of product and project documents with a focus on audit compliance.
- Coordination and tracking in change management, as well as participation in the change control board
- Support in defining the project-specific methodology for the structure, numbering, and labeling of the product structure (hardware, software, including material number assignment)
- Conducting internal and external configuration audits, as well as preparing analyses and change overviews
- Further development and maintenance of the configuration management system in SAP, as well as cross-departmental coordination to develop consistent and standards-compliant configuration solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or comparable) or certification as a state-certified technician (m/f/d)
- Professional experience in configuration management, ideally in a technical environment; knowledge of configuration management standards is a plus
- Fluency in German and English
- Experience in the areas of product structure, technical drawing sets, and documentation
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP (Material Management, Configuration and Change Management)
- Good knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint is desirable
- Current CM2 / CMPIC certification (Levels 1–4, 10) is desirable
