UCT is looking for a talented Planner II to join us in China!
The Planner II ensures timely and accurate materials planning to support production readiness and on‑time customer delivery. This role manages high‑volume part portfolios, maintains system data integrity, and coordinates with Buyers, Operations, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to resolve supply issues. It identifies bottlenecks, aligns suppliers to demand, and translates forecasts into executable material plans. The planner monitors inventory, drives continuous improvement, and provides daily reporting to support operational and customer commitments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Parts maintenance checking before project kicks in.
- Manage 500-1000 items per project.
- Plan & schedule materials availability to drive production to meet customers delivery commits.
- Co-ordinate with other departments including Buyer, Operations, Programmer and Warehouse for on-time delivery.
- Systems data maintenance and integrity, key in purchase parts and fabrication parts correctly.
- Identify the possible production bottlenecks and have contingencies plans.
- Work with existing vendors on the completion of the new revision material or temporary change order.
- To renew, monitor and translate forecast into material plan and pull in & out with suppliers accordingly.
- Execute materials planning and purchase for production fulfillment.
- Review report daily with purchasing dept.
- To coordinate with quality engineers of any non-conforming materials.
- Ensure on-time delivery of materials from suppliers.
- Attend production meetings and any others for communication and update purpose.
- Generate management report and other activities as assigned by Superior.

Educational/Certification Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Science/ Mathematics/ Materials /Industrial Engineering/Business.
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering/Business.
Experience Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Science/ Mathematics/ Materials /Industrial Engineering At least 2 years working experience.
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering with At least 3 years working experience.
- Preferably in manufacturing environment.
- No fear of paper works and system update.
