The Planner I is responsible for influencing and implementing the relevant brand’s merchandise strategy. They manage financial and strategic aspects of various products, including product planning, controlling open-to-buy, and reviewing figures. They also handle range assortments, replenishment, distribution strategy, and communication with stores and field teams.

  • Influencing and implementing the relevant brand’s merchandise strategy
  • Work closely with the buying team to maximize sales, analyse performance & optimise product stock levels
  • Financial and strategic management of the various products e.g. product planning, controlling open-to-buy, reviewing weekly & monthly figures
  • Management of the range assortments and replenishment
  • Management and implementation of distribution strategy e.g. analysing stores profiles & sales trends, developing promotional & range distribution by store & cluster
  • Collaborative partnerships with external stakeholders including internal buying and operational stakeholders to maximise sales, analyse performance and optimise stock levels
  • Communication with stores and field
  • Minimum Completed Degree or Diploma in a related field
  • Minimum 3 years working experience as a Planner
  • Strong understanding of customer demographics and in-depth knowledge of the planning process in retail
