PLANNING ANALYST

About the Position: This position is located in Falls Church, Virginia.

Coordinates the development, review, and maintenance of comprehensive operational support plans to align agency resources with broader organizational missions.

Leads cross-functional planning groups and teams to design, evaluate, and implement tactical and strategic emergency response plans.

Plans, designs, and conducts complex technical and analytical studies to evaluate, measure, and assess organizational resource and capability needs.

Formulates and delivers decisive briefings, progress reports, and strategic recommendations to senior executive leadership to guide program-level decisions.

Represents organizational interests on technical configuration control boards to identify, evaluate, and prioritize software refinement requirements based on end-user feedback.

Collaborates with training directors to monitor program performance metrics and ensure technical training initiatives meet enterprise-wide user requirements.

Coordinates and hosts specialized workshops to help planners utilize analytical modeling software to generate estimates and project resource requirements.

Guides stakeholders in utilizing quantitative modeling and analytical simulation tools to conduct thorough risk and course-of-action analyses.
