Planning and Design Management Support

NIKA is hiring a Planning and Design Management Support to serve its government client at Naval Medical Center San Diego (Balboa). Day to day, the person develops planning documents for minor projects — SOWs, work scopes, project plans, phasing/relocation plans, design specifications, RFPs, and cost estimates — consults with facility staff, and submits weekly project reports.

Job Description:
- Develop planning documents (SOWs, work scopes, project plans, phasing/relocation plans, design specifications, RFPs, cost estimates) for Minor Projects
- Consult with FMD and NMCSD staff to develop planning documents and identify/prioritize new projects
- Submit planning documents to the Government within 21 calendar days of request, with minimal rework
- Provide weekly reports of newly identified projects (detailed and complete)
- Attend meetings and conduct site visits as required by the Government
- Bachelor's degree in a construction or engineering field, OR 8 years of construction/engineering experience
- MUST be US citizen and have ability to obtain security clearance
