About Jeeny:
Jeeny is a mobile application that eases daily commuting and transportation. By connecting you with your preferred mode of transportation, we are fulfilling our aim of making mobility accessible, affordable, and flexible for all.
We are a joint venture between MEIG (Middle East Internet Group), Rocket Internet, and IMENA. Jeeny was established in 2014 as Easy Taxi. However, in 2016, it was revamped as Jeeny to cater to other services. Currently, we are operational in Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
We have offices in Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah, Dammam, Khobar, Amman, Lahore, and Karachi.
About the role:
This role is critical in helping business teams at Jeeny optimize decision-making, planning, and performance management. You will be reporting to the CFO and have a team of two analysts.
You will be responsible for managing end-to-end performance tracking, financial planning, and strategic reporting to ensure that ride-hailing across markets operates at peak efficiency and alignment alongside managing a team of highly talented individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead quarterly and monthly budgets (topline and bottom-line)
- Create quarterly and monthly KPI targets
- Outline gaps versus targets and work with business teams to create initiatives to bridge gaps
- Create cadence between business teams and leadership to improve progress (weekly performance call, month-end retro call, etc.)
- Partner with business teams to make key decisions
- Create visibility of L0, L1, and L2 KPIs at the right frequency for business teams
- Identify opportunities for improving L0 KPIs by tracking L1 and L2 KPIs proactively
- Develop business and financial models on ad hoc requests from cross-functional stakeholders
- Lead and develop a team of strategy, planning, and performance analysts, setting objectives, managing performance, and fostering a strong team culture
- Work cross-functionally to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements:
- BSc/BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field; MSc/MA/MBA is a plus
- 4+ years experience in business finance, strategy, or planning roles (required)
- Team management experience is a must
- Strong presentation skills
- Expert in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization software
- Strong expertise in automation and AI use
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- Fluent in written and spoken English
