Planning Cost Control Engineer

The Project Planning & Cost Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control systems for oil and gas projects. The role includes preparing project schedules and cost forecasts, monitoring project performance, analyzing cost variances, reviewing contractor invoices and change orders, preparing management reports, supporting risk assessments, and coordinating with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Finance, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning and cost engineering within the Oil & Gas, Energy, EPC, Construction, or Industrial sectors. Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, earned value management, and cost control. Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent project management software. Excellent analytical, reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills. Professional certifications such as PMP, CCP, PSP, or AACE are highly desirable.
