Planning Engineer
Summary
Plans and manages material usage for precast concrete components in construction projects, ensuring production meets site requirements and schedules. Core technologies: MS Office tools, Globe 3 system.
Key Responsibilities
- To receive latest shop drawings from drafting team and maintain updated shop drawing list.
- To prepare mould grouping and coordinate with contract department and mould suppliers.
- To prepare database for all the precast components and update the material data received from QS.
- To Prepare Monthly Production List (MPL), issue to production team and monitor according to main contractor site requirements/schedule.
- To monitor the actual usage of materials against the contract quantity and feedback to plant manager/production engineer in-charge.
- Monitor & update the production records in the database/Globe 3 system.
- Ensure material planning as per production schedule and update all material records.
- To order, monitor and maintain stock record for main contractor supply materials.
- Responsible for all material orders, precast components cast and delivered quantity for the assigned projects (4-5 projects depends on project size).
- Prepare weekly & monthly report of production, delivery and material usage.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
- Precast industry experience is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office tools
