Planning Engineer

Summary

Plans and tracks large offshore/marine construction projects, coordinating schedules across engineering, procurement, and site teams using project management tools and PMP best practices.

  • Develop project overall schedule, phase baseline schedule and detailed construction/engineering/procurement schedules based on project scope, contract requirements and project execution strategy.

  • Establish project WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), define activity logic, duration and resource allocation, and complete schedule budgeting and milestone confirmation.

  • Track daily, weekly and monthly project progress, collect actual progress data, analyze schedule deviation, identify potential delays and propose reasonable adjustment and recovery plans.

  • Compile regular project progress reports, monthly reports and client-side scheduled reports, accurately feedback project execution status, key milestones and existing risks.

  • Coordinate schedule interface among engineering, procurement, fabrication, transportation and site construction teams, resolve schedule conflicts and promote cross-departmental progress synchronization.

  • Participate in project meeting arrangements, record progress problems and rectification requirements, follow up the implementation of schedule optimization measures, and support project final delivery and schedule settlement.

  • Familiar with topside, hull and offshore new energy project EPC scheduling management mode.

  • Possesses PMP certification or relevant project management professional qualifications.

  • Experienced in serving foreign owners and international third-party supervision teams with fluent technical English.
