Planning Manager-Contracting
We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead the planning and scheduling functions for large-scale infrastructure projects, Electrical Projects and other civil works. The ideal candidate will manage project timelines, resource allocation, and coordination, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery of complex infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules for infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure alignment of project deliverables with infrastructure objectives.
- Lead project risk assessments and mitigation planning for complex infrastructure developments.
- Oversee the planning process from pre-construction to project handover, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Conduct resource planning and manage manpower and equipment allocation for infrastructure projects.
- Use Primavera P6 and other relevant software to track project milestones and deliverables.
- Manage relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including municipalities and utility companies.
- Perform critical path analysis, delay management, and recommend corrective actions for any deviations in project schedules.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Management, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in infrastructure project planning & and civil engineering.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other project planning software.
- Strong understanding of civil construction processes and government regulations for infrastructure development.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects from planning to execution.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in PMP or similar project management programs.
- Expertise in contracts, procurement, and large-scale project management.
