Planning Manager
The Planning Manager plays a crucial role in project success by meticulously studying and understanding project scopes, coordinating with key stakeholders, and leveraging advanced planning software to develop and optimize project programs.
- Studies and understands the project scope, project activities, project duration, construction methodology, milestones, project constraints etc.
- Coordinates and consults with Project Director and Project Manager regarding the sequence of work, activity duration, resources etc.
- Prepares the program of works using latest planning software and technologies.
- Prepares resource loading program. Updates program of works and issues look ahead schedule.
- Prepares recovery program in co-ordination with Project Manager if there is any delay in critical activity, for client review and approval.
- Prepares and submits weekly and monthly reports.
- Coordinates, updates and follows up any pending action with all stake holders directly involved in the clients’ turnaround, as may be recorded in monthly minutes of meeting.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years in construction within UAE / GCC.
- Proven managerial experience in planning and executing projects of high quality.
- Knowledge of construction activities from tendering, execution, to handover
- Ability to lead and manage employees,
- An analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Meticulous and detail-oriented working style
- Certifications related to Safety and Quality are an ADVANTAGE
