Planning Manager

  • Develop, review and optimize the overall project baseline schedule, WBS structure, milestone plan, monthly/weekly rolling plan covering engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation and commissioning phases for offshore EPC projects.

  • Monitor daily/weekly project progress, track actual execution against baseline schedule, collect progress data, prepare S-curves, progress measurement reports and milestone achievement reports.

  • Identify schedule deviations, analyze delay causes, evaluate the impact of design changes, site variations, resource adjustment and interface issues, and propose feasible recovery plans and corrective actions.

  • Organize regular project schedule meetings, align progress status with internal engineering, procurement, construction teams and client/third-party stakeholders, and provide accurate progress forecasting.

  • Manage project schedule documents, ensure full traceability of baseline updates, schedule revisions and delay records, and support project claim & progress settlement work.

  • Optimize resource allocation logic, coordinate multi-discipline working sequences, avoid schedule conflicts, and ensure overall project delivery efficiency and on-time completion.

  • Bachelor degree or above in Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering majors.

  • Must have solid working experience in OFFSHORE EPC / offshore oil & gas projects (FPSO, offshore platform, subsea or marine floating facility project experience is highly preferred). Pure onshore production / factory project experience is not acceptable.

  • 8+ years professional project planning experience, with at least 3+ complete large-scale offshore EPC project delivery cycles as core planning member or planning lead.

  • Proficient in Primavera P6 / MS Project and advanced Excel for schedule compilation, progress analysis and data visualization; familiar with international EPC project scheduling specifications and management processes.

  • Familiar with full EPC project workflow including engineering design, material procurement, offshore fabrication, site installation and commissioning; capable of judging key path risks and controlling overall project rhythm independently.

  • Strong cross-department communication, stakeholder coordination and problem-solving abilities; able to work under tight project schedule pressure.

  • Good English listening, speaking and writing skills for daily client communication and official report submission.
